DS200TBQAG1A is a Thermocouple Termination Module manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark V LM Series used in gas turbine control systems. The R1 and R5 cores contain the TBQA (Thermocouple Termination Module). 45 thermocouple input signals can be received by the TBQA terminal board. The TBQA in R1 distributes its input signals in the following ways: 15 signals (thermocouples #1 through #15) go to the TCQA in R1, 15 signals (thermocouples #16 through #30) go to the TCQA in the core of R2, and 15 signals (thermocouples #31 through #45) go to the TCQA in R3. 42 thermocouple input signals are connected to the TCCA board in "R5" and can be received by the TBQA board in "R5". The circuits for compensating for cold junctions are likewise provided by the TBQA board.
TBQA CONNECTIONS:
JAR - Writes the cold junction signal and the thermocouple signals #1 through #15 to the TCQA board in the core. The thermocouple signals #1 through #15 and the cold junction signal are written to the TCCA board in the core from the core.
JAS - Writes the cold junction signal and thermocouple signals #16 through #30 to the TCQA board in the core. The thermocouple signals #16 through #30 and the cold junction signal are written to the TCCA board in the core from the core.
JAT - Thermocouple signals #31 through #45 and a cold junction signal are written to the TCQA board in the 'R3' core from the 'R1' core. The thermocouple signals #31 through #42 and the cold junction signal are written from the R5> core to the TCCA board in the R5> core.
THERMOCOUPLE INPUTS:
Three groups of 15 people each make up the TBQA terminal board, one group for each core, and each group has its own solid-state cold junction compensation. Typically, control and trip purposes are handled by the thermocouple inputs. 42 thermocouples that are mounted on a TBQA terminal board inside the R5 core can be monitored by the R5 controller. Three groups of fourteen inputs each having a distinct solid-state cold junction correction make up this group of inputs. R5 inputs are usually solely used for monitoring; they are never utilized for control or trip.
