TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - DS200UCIAG1A

DS200UCIAG1A is a UC2000 Motherboard developed by GE. It is a part of Drive Control system. It's a motherboard that's situated on the system's R core. The connectors needed to mount the UCPB CPU daughter board, the PANA ARCNET no-LAN driver board, up to two GENI boards, and a PDAD hard drive are provided by the board. Fuel skid pressure signals from the TCSA board are translated on this board using an inbuilt 196 microprocessor before being transferred to and written to the UCPB board. The control sequence software then employs these signals.

Features

  • The main printed wiring board in the UC2000 is called the UCIA. The UCPB and ELB912G are two additional boards that can be mounted using the connectors found on this board (GENI).
  • One jumper, JP1, which is solely used for manufacturing tests, is included on the UCIA board. When the process specifies, test-points, TPI, and TP2 are used for diagnostics. The process software defines the LEDs that make up DNI. The fan on the UCPB board is powered by S V through the fan connector (P14) (optional).

Board Replacement Procedure

  1. Verify that the unit is completely powered down.
  2. Loosen the top middle thumb screw on the outside of the door to open the unit's door. Plastic clips hold the UCIA in place (holders).
  3. Disconnect the microGENI daughterboard(s) that are linked to the UCIA before removing the UCIA/UCPB assembly from the holder. Disconnect all corresponding connectors.
    1. Disconnect all cords gently as follows:
    2. Pull the tab if the cable has one.
    3. Put one hand on either side of the cable connector that connects to the board connector when using a ribbon cable. Use both hands to carefully pull the cable connector.
    4. Never pull on the ribbon cable.
    5. To release each wire from a screw terminal connector, just unscrew the top of each terminal.
    6. Set all switches and the pot in the same locations on the replacement (new) board as they were on the one being replaced.
    7. To protect the pins on each side and the pins on top of the UCIA board, gently remove the daughterboard(s).
  4. To release the UCIA board, push its top. Lift the assembly out of the bottom snaps with caution.
  5. To assemble the new device, align the boards with the six plastic standoffs that are already attached. If both ends are properly seated, the holder will click into place. To release each wire from a screw terminal connector, just unscrew the top of each terminal.
    1. Set all switches and the pot in the same locations on the replacement (new) board as they were on the one being replaced.
    2. To protect the pins on each side and the pins on top of the UCIA board, gently remove the daughterboard(s).
  6. If the daughterboard were taken out, put them back in place and reattach all the wires, making sure they are properly positioned at both ends.
