TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - DS2020AGSAG1

DS2020AGSAG1 is a AC2000G stack module designed and developed by GE. It is designed under Drive Control series. It is suitable for TMR or Simplex redundant applications. This module includes direct-sensing interfacing, software-implemented fault tolerance, and other features. This module is now considered obsolete because it is no longer actively produced by the manufacturer and is therefore difficult to find on the market.

Features

  • It has online maintenance, which means the module can be replaced or repaired while the system is still operational.
  • The module is compatible with three types of memory.
  • Random access memory (RAM) is used for volatile memory, electrically erasable programmable memory read-only memory (EEPROM) is used for permanent storage of up-to-date information and application software, and electrically/erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) is used for fixed memory.

System Application Software

  • The I/O, sequencing, and displays for each application are integrated with the application software using internal software automation tools that choose tested GE control and protection algorithms. Fixed-point data can be processed at a 62.5 ms frame rate (16 Hz). The amount of time it takes to read control inputs, condition inputs, run application code, and send output orders to the control valves is known as the frame rate. While the turbine is operational, password-protected updates to the application software can be downloaded to the control module./li>
  • All application software is kept in nonvolatile EEPROM memory in the control module.
  • Application software is displayed as a ladder diagram and is run in a sequential manner. Maintenance employees can add or modify analog loops and sequencing logic by using a library of software building pieces. Also included are math building bricks.
  • Directly generated from the source code, application software documentation can be printed on-site and includes the primary elementary diagram, I/O assignments, and tuning constant settings.
