DS3800HCMA is a dual communications control board developed by GE. It is a part of Mark IV control system

Features

  • The Board contains a modular connector for attachment to a drive and retention levers to hold the board in the drive. It has 20 jumpers, as well as 1 amber and 2 red indicator Lights. The board also has two 34-pin connectors and a number of capacitors.
  • The indicator LEDs on the GE Dual Communications Control Board give the operator a fast and easy method of monitoring the processing health of the board. If the red LED is lighted, it signifies that an error condition has occurred. If one or both of the amber LEDs light up, it means that an alert has occurred and that additional investigation is necessary.
  • The indicator LEDs on the GE Dual Communications Control Board give the operator a fast and easy method of monitoring the processing health of the board. If the red LED is lit, it indicates that an error condition has occurred. If 1 or both of the amber LEDs are lit, it indicates that an alert has occurred and that further investigation is required.
  • Use the control panel on the drive to access the diagnostic tools. The control panel is a menu-driven interface. It produces an online report on the processing activities and the health of the components. It also provides a list of all error conditions and trip conditions. Trip conditions are conditions that have caused the drive to automatically shutdown.
