Features
The Board includes a modular connector for connecting to a drive and retention levers to keep the board in place. The Line Driver/Receiver Board also has two jumpers and several capacitors. The board also has two 40-pin connectors that are accessible from the front.
When the board is installed in the drive, the operator has access to two 40-pin connectors. However, any cables connected to the connectors should only be touched if all power has been removed from the drive.
Removing power from the drive necessitates that someone familiar with the drive's installation confirm that all power has been removed. The drive has multiple current sources, and only someone familiar with the installation will be able to identify them and disconnect them. Use a full-featured testing device to ensure that all power has been removed before touching the board.
