TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - DS3800HHRB

DS3800HHRB is a highway receive circuit board developed by GE. It is a part of Mark IV control system

Features

  • It has one long connector port that runs along one of the board's edges.
  • On the right side, there is one red light-emitting diode (LED).
  • On one edge, there are four test points labeled with the initials TP.

Panel Power Distribution

  • In addition to the 10A fuses in the Power Distribution Module, each supply has an internal 5A fuse on each side of the 125VDC bus. All connections from modules inside the panel to the Power Distribution Module are secured with 2-pin lockable connectors.
  • The relays are powered by the redundant 28V, 6A power supplies [PS.RELl] and [PS.REL2]. They are designed in the same way as computer supplies. The two 15A fuses feeding Relay Module #I, [RELAYS], provide an option for fuse isolation between trip and non-trip solenoids.
  • An MOV, a filtering capacitor, and a current limit resistor condition the feeds to the Contact Input Modules, [CIM]. There is an option for fuse isolation between Contact Input Modules. The Communicator monitors it to alert a blown fuse and specify which fuse has blown.
  • The Communicator monitors all internal power supplies and generates an alarm if any of them are out of tolerance, or if there is an undervoltage or ground on the 125VDC battery bus. Algorithm "64D" performs this ground calculation.
