TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - DS3800HIMA

DS3800HIMA is an isolation board developed by GE. It is a part of Mark IV control system

Features

  • Factory drilled near or in board corners
  • Built with multiple integrated circuits. HP69137 DIP, AM26LS30 Dip dual differential integrated circuits, and AM26LS33 quad differential receivers are examples.
  • LM309K transistor was used in its construction. This is a single silicon chip 5V regulator. The LM309K is TTL and DTL compatible, has an output current of more than 1A, and is equipped with thermal overload protection.
  • Includes a Bicron 218A4819P2 transformer
  • Capacitor: 708d1 8803D 200V and another capacitor marked 708A1 m/c 100V 5.0+ 10% 8942.
  • Single amber LED

Ground System

  • All control commons are wired to a single termination bar mounted on insulated stand-offs at the top of the right side wall. Shields are connected to shield bars on individual I/O modules via wires. They are then wired to a single termination bar at the bottom of the right side wall, which is stand-off-insulated from the panel case. Ground straps connect the shield and control common termination bars to a single ground bar at the bottom of the right side wall, directly below the shield termination bar.
  • This bar is bolted to the metal easel, and its ground lug must be connected to the plant ground grid using a cable no larger than #4 AWG. At the installation site, earth ground is an electrical mat or grid buried in moist earth, or a series of conducting rods driven a sufficient distance into the earth and electrically connected together. To protect personnel and equipment, it is used to shunt stray electrical currents from machinery, building structures, and electrical equipment to ground.
