TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - DS3800HSCD

The GE DS3800HSCD is a High-Level Non-Isolated Input Board. On one end, the board has a modular connector, and on the other, retention levers. A large number of capacitors are populated on the board. Several transistor-transistor logic devices are installed on the board. There are 16 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber indicator LED on the GE High-Level Non-Isolated Input Board DS3800HSCD. A socket for electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) modules is also included on the board. Three trimmer resistors are also included on the board.

  • The red indicator LEDs are located between the retention levers on the board. While the board is processing and receiving current, the operator can observe its operation. When activity occurs on the circuit to which the red indicator LED is coupled, it illuminates.
  • When the red indicator LEDs are off, there is no activity on the board or the current has been disconnected. Use the diagnostic applications to determine the state of the drive and determine why the activity has ceased.
  • A control panel with a 2-line display and a keypad are included with the drive. The operator can move through a succession of menus using the keys.
  • The user can alter the parameters that regulate the drive operations using the menus. Minor changes to the settings can be made using the editing feature. This is owing to the small display and the keypad's restricted editing capabilities.
  • The diagnostic programs can also be run by the operator. The user interface for selecting diagnostic programs is the menus.
