TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - DS3800NADB

The DS3800NADB is a 12-bit analog/digital converter printed circuit board. This PCB is part of the General Electric Speedtronic Mark IV family of gas and steam turbine control systems. All important controls and protection settings on the Mark IV are developed with integrated chipsets with two-out-of-three voting redundancy.

  • The DS3800NADB is a bigger PCB that serves as a motherboard for the DS3800DADB, a smaller auxiliary board. Because of the eight capacitors (708A1 200V M/E) attached to the auxiliary, the capacitance of the DS3800NADB is considerably improved when this board is mounted.
  • DS3800NADB has a spare PTH at its right edge. It has one amber LED with the letters "p ok" written on it. There are three TP test pots . The com/sync/aout tag is used to identify these. There is only one male connector and one female connector. It also has one ribbon connector for DS3800DADB communication. The board has already been drilled at the factory. Two variable resistor potentiometers are included.
  • The upper and lower right corners have extractor tabs attached to them. It has a mark on it that indicates where it should be aligned. NADB 6DA02 6BA04 is written on the bottom border. There were a lot of jumper switches on it. "Range" is written on J1. J2 is labeled "parity" and can be toggled between in and out. J3 is labeled OSC and can be toggled between in and outmodes.
