TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - DS3800NDIC

DS3800NDIC functions as a Current Isolator Card for the turbine control system. It's part of the Speedtronic Mark IV Turbine Series from General Electric. The DS3800NDIC is a Mother Board with a portion for mounting a Daughter Board on four tiny pegs.

  • Three transistors are present on the board. The aim of transistors, which are made of a semiconductive substance, is to amplify or modify electrical impulses and power. Over seventy resistors make up the card. A resistor is a component that controls the passage of energy across a circuit board.
  • One Variable Resistor or Potentiometer is included in the module. The Variable Resistor is an adjustable resistor with a little screw on the top that allows the worker to alter the resistance. The board additionally includes eleven integrated circuits that keep the circuit boards running.
  • There are two types of integrated circuits: programmable and non-programmable. EPROMs are programmable integrated circuits that can be updated as needed. EEPROM stands for electrically erasable programmable read-only memory.
