TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - DS3800NSCC

DS3800NSCC is a Speed Current Regulator card developed by General Electric. It's from the Mark IV series. This series was created with triple-redundant backups on all essential parameters and controls and was designed for steam or gas turbine management.

  • The DS3800NSCC is constructed with two PCB mating connectors on opposite sides of the board. A 218A4637P1 87936-1 connector is on the right, and a 218A4553-1A/mp 533002-1 connector is on the left. Behind this second connector, the board is numbered in tens (from ten to eighty).
  • One Augat connector is also included. One amber LED, labeled "Imok," is included in the PCB. There are fourteen test spots on the board. Acom, Fcl, Sra, Tstn, Sp, Tstt, Out, Rcl, Fc1, Tstc, Sus, Rlt, Rla, and Sua are the labels for these.
  • Polyester film capacitors, particularly 708D1 m/e.10 +/- 10% 80v, are used in the board. It also includes a number of smaller ceramic capacitors. Ceramic-covered metal film resistors make up the majority of the resistors on the board.
  • Two edges of the card have been marked for alignment. It is equipped with extractor/inserter clips. Extractors aid professionals in installing or removing PCBs from tight spaces without damaging circuitry or components by providing a handle to grasp the board and a lever to pull the board out of place (by pushing the clips against the chassis frame.)
  • Multiple circuits are used in the board, including quad 2-input exclusive-or gates and quadruple differential comparators.
