The DS3800NSWB is an SW 3 Comparators that is part of General Electric's Mark IV turbine control system. It belongs to the Mark IV series and is preferred by Gas & Steam turbine industry.
The DS3800NSWB performs the function of a SW'3 Comparator. Comparators are intended to compare voltages by accepting analog signals via inputs and producing binary outputs. Typically, these boards are trimmed to provide faster switching times. Trimming at the expense of frequency-response accuracy is possible. It has has multiple LED indicators along one edge. There are ten red LED indicators and one yellow indicator. Each of these indicators has its own label. The board is filled with TP test points between these indicators. Test points are typically used during the manufacturing process and may not be required for your specific application.
A single backplane connector populates the board's rear edge. This connector enables the board to "plug in" to the rack system and communicate easily with other components. In addition, the board has a vertical pin connector for communicating with an optional daughterboard that includes potentiometers, jumper switches, and pin connectors.
Resistor network arrays, capacitors, resistors, integrated circuits, and transistors are among the other components on the board. The majority of components will have a reference designation or will be marked with another GE identifier.
