TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - DS3800XAIB

DS3800XAIB is a Terminal Board under Mark IV series. General Electric designed the Mark IV system (GE). The Mark IV is the third system in the Mark series of turbine control systems.

The Mark IV system includes this board as a component. The Mark IV system automates all necessary turbine operations while also protecting the turbines and their operators from injury.

  • On its surface, the board has a variety of circuit board components. On one half of the DS3800XAIB, there are twelve big components. Eight of these components are black in color and constructed of plastic. The remaining four components are metal and grey in hue.
  • The initials ATB are used to identify these long components. A number of very small components can be found on the other side of the DS3800XAIB. Many little banded resistors are arranged in rows and patterned in various colors. A number of larger resistors can also be found on the DS3800XAIB. The larger resistors are brown in color and have a brown, gold, and white banding pattern. Among the banded resistors are a slew of different solid grey resistors.
  • On the PCB, a sequence of little grey and black diodes can be seen. A few jumper pins can also be found towards the center of the DS3800XAIB. In addition to the jumper pin, there are multiple blue jumpers. These jumpers can be used to link two pins that are next to each other.
