DS3820AIPA is an Analog I/O Module manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark IV Series used in GE Speedtronic Gas Turbine Control Systems. The CPU can interface with analog input modules to sense the fluctuating voltage and current signals found in the outside world. It functions as a module for high-density analog field sensor acquisition. With built-in filtering, A/D conversion, and calibration, it offers the Logic Module 32 independent, incredibly dependable, and galvanically separated inputs. The internal module bus is used by analog input modules (AI) to process normalized electrical signals, convert them to digital values, and send the appropriate measured value to the gateway. Optocouplers insulate the electronics on the module bus of the analog input modules from the field level, and they also provide protection from reverse polarity. Slice designs come with built-in analog input modules. Using a tension clamp or screw connection, base modules complete XN standard electronics modules.
