TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - IC200CHS022

IC200CHS022 is an I/O carrier module developed by General Electric. It is a Versamax series industrial carrier module that has been designed and built. The mounting mechanism, backplane communications and connections, and all field wiring connections for one suitable I/O module with up to 32 inputs or outputs and up to four power connections are all provided by one Versamax carrier module.

  • This carrier module is corrosion resistant and can be readily placed on a DIN rail. It is grounded for safety and EMC protection. The carrier module is designed to be remote, with dimensions of 66.8 mm x 70 mm x 163.5 mm.
  • The carrier module must be positioned with 1 inch of horizontal spacing and 2 inches of vertical spacing around it to provide appropriate ventilation. 36 IEC box-style terminals are present on the module. It can provide wiring for up to 32 I/O points and four common power connections, as well as backplane communications, mounting, and field wiring for one Input/Output module.
  • Other features of the module include easy-keying dials that aid installation; keys that match the keying at the module's base; male-female connectors that simplify backplane connection installation without the need for additional tools/cables; a module latch hole that secures the module to the carrier; and a foldable printed wiring card that can be inserted in the inbuilt cardholder.
  • The module easily mounts to a 7.5 mm x 35 mm DIN rail. The DIN rail must be electrically grounded to offer EMC protection. The rail must be finished with a conductive corrosion-resistant finish, preferably one that is not painted. The carrier must also be panel-mounted for applications demanding the highest mechanical vibration and shock resistance.
  • The cardholder on the IC200CHS022 allows the terminal wiring to pivot. In the holder, you can put the wiring card that came with the I/O module. The cardholder should be dragged back during system operation.
