TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - IC3600SVDE1

The IC3600SVDE1 is a Vibration Alarm Card and is part of the Speedtronic mark II control system which is used in the HYDROGEN PURITY DETECTION AREA. Since their first shipments in 1969, General Electric gas turbines with Speedtronic control systems have accumulated millions of hours of operating experience all around the world. In temperatures ranging from - 50 degrees Celsius to plus 50 degrees Celsius, these units are employed in a variety of applications, including utility, maritime, pipeline, process, and combined cycles. Off the coasts of Russia, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, South America, and Asia, there are hundreds of these units. In this case, the Speedtronic control has proven to be quite successful.

  • The SVDE card has three-level detector and alarm channels, two are used for Hydrogen purity detection.
  • For each channel, the positive input voltage is compared to an adjustable reference voltage. When the input exceeds its reference, the logic output will indicate an alarm condition, and a light on the card will go on.
  • If the alarm output is tied to the latch signal for that channel, then the alarm signal will latch and can only be reset by the push button on the card or by an external push-button when the input goes below the alarm level. (There is one reset push button for all three channels).
  • If the latch input is not connected, the alarm output will return to the unalarmed state when the input is reduced to below the alarm level.
