IC660BBD020 is a Discrete I/O Module developed by GE Fanuc. It is a versatile 24/48 VDC source I/O block from the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).   • Compatibility and Installation: Compatible with the Terminal Assembly IC66TSD020 version C or later. However, it is not compatible with earlier versions assemblies unless they are upgraded. For monitoring and configuration, any handheld monitor can be used except for the IC66HHM501, which requires additional configuration.

Installation

  • Proper installation requires a clean, contaminant-free environment with adequate cooling airflow.
  • The block can be mounted in any orientation, right-side up or upside down, but special attention must be given to grounding, especially using the block’s mounting screws.
  • A short, reliable ground lead is essential to ensuring proper operation.

Diagnostic Features

  • Over-Temperature Protection: Automatically shuts down the block if the temperature exceeds 100°C, protecting the system from heat-related damage.
  • Short Circuit Protection: Quickly disables a circuit if it detects a current above 10 Amps, preventing potential damage to connected devices.
