IS200GGXIG1A is an expander load source board designed and developed by GE. It is a part of the GE Mark VI control system. It serves as an Expander Load Source Board, providing control and isolation between the high-voltage power bridge and other cards on the board rack. By converting RS422 signals to fiber-optic signals, it enables the gating of the bridge IGCT switching devices. With the ability to connect to multiple power devices, it ensures efficient power management within the system. It offers various I/Os and connectors for seamless integration with other boards, facilitating effective communication and power transfer. Additionally, the board incorporates grounding stabs for different circuit types, an isolated serial ID chip for identification, and various test points and LEDs for monitoring and troubleshooting.
