TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - IS200STURH2A

IS200STURH2A is a Simplex Primary Turbine Protection Input Terminal Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VIe Series used in distributed control systems. The turbine terminal board has a simplex S-type terminal board version called the Simplex Primary Turbine Protection Input (STUR) terminal board (TTUR). It has connections for the turbine-specific primary trip (PTUR), speed and synchronization inputs, trip relay outputs, and a cable to power a primary trip board. The following are some uses for STUR:

  • Mechanical drives without a synchronizing function but needing Overspeed protection
  • Generator drive systems that demand primary synchronization and Overspeed.
  • Additional uses for the four PTUR pulse input circuits.
  • The physical dimensions, customer terminal placements, and I/O pack mounting of this terminal board are identical to those of other S-type terminal boards. No component will allow for multiple stacking of terminal boards above the associated PTUR I/O pack.

The primary services that STUR offers are as follows:

  • For attaching a single PTUR I/O pack, the DC-62 pin connector is provided in step one.
  • Takes up to four input speed signals.
  • The board comes with a 48-terminal Euro-style box connector for client connecting points.
  • Offers two outputs for trip solenoids, K1 and K2, each of which is made up of a safety relay (H1, H2).
  • Offers a DC-37 pin connector for attaching a primary trip relay, such as a TPRG, TPRL, TPRS, or TPRA (H3, H4).
  • Takes two major synchronization inputs (PT) (H2, H4). They accept signals from potential transformers that represent the bus voltage and generator voltage.
