TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - IS200TREGH2B

IS200TREGH2B is a trip emergency terminal card developed by GE under the Mark VI series. The Mark VI was the final model in GE's Speedtronic line of gas and steam turbine management systems. The Mark VI has incorporated redundant backups for turbine flame detection, shaft voltage monitoring, and speed input monitoring, among other things.

  • The IS200TREGH2B is a terminal board for a gas turbine emergency trip. Three emergency trip solenoids are powered by this card. The I/O controller is in charge of it. This board is used in tandem with a TRPG board. The IS200TREGH2B supplies the emergency trip solenoids with positive dc power, while the TRPG supplies negative power. The TREG board is available in numerous configurations; this one is designed for use in 24 V dc applications, with control power from board connectors (JX1, JY1, and JZ1) diode combined to provide redundant power for status feedback circuits and power for economizing relays.
  • The card has twelve relays on the board, divided into two lines of six. Nine of these are grouped into three groups of three to control the trip solenoids by vote inputs. Other board functionalities are provided by four smaller relays on the board. Along the backside of the board, there are three D-type (female) connectors.
  • There are numerous plug connectors available, including 2-position, 3-position, and 12-position plugs. Two terminal boards (TB1 and TB2) are put side by side along the front border of the board. Multiple metal oxide varistors (MOVs) and a 10 x 70 W economizing resistor are also present on the board. These components are used to prevent current from flowing.
