IS215UCVDH2A is a VME Controller Card that is manufactured by General Electric and designed to operate turbine application code as a part of the Mark VI Series. This controller is mounted in the VME rack of the control module. It uses the VME bus to communicate with the turbine I/O board. This board comes in five different versions, the UCVD being one of them. The front faceplate of the IS215UCVDH2A has a lot of components installed on it. A UDH Ethernet port, two COM ports, and LPT1 port, a Genius cable plug, a reset switch, and several LED indicators are all included. There are two sets of status LEDs, one with six and the other with eight. The former is a collection of LEDs that serves as a controller and communication system, while the latter displays runtime fault codes related to download difficulties, configuration, or starting.

  • The COM1 port is used to set up the controller for the first time. Serial communications are handled via COM 2. Two ISBus drive LAN connectors, a monitor port, and a Hard Disk port are located on the front faceplate.
