TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - IS220PCNOH1A

IS220PCNOH1A is a CANopen Master Gateway Module developed by GE. It is a part of Mark VIe series. The CANopen Input/Output pack is an NMT CANopen master that maps I/O from CANopen Woodward GS6 and GS16 valves to MarkVIe controllers via I/O Ethernet. The CANopen I/O pack (PCNO) is a network management master that maps CANopen I/O to IONet Mark VIe controllers. The PCNO I/O pack includes a BPPx processor board and an acquisition carrier board outfitted with a Hilscher GmbH COM-C CANopen communication module. The CANopen fieldbus interface is provided by the COM-C module via a DE-9 D-sub receptacle connector. It functions as a CANopen master with a maximum transmission rate of 500 kbps. The PCNO supports the redundancy two options. Single I/O pack with a single I/O Ethernet connection (no redundancy) and dual I/O Ethernet connections.

FEATURES

  • The module includes a processor board that is shared by most Mark VIe distributed I/O modules and an acquisition carrier board outfitted with a Hilscher GmbH COM-C CANopen communication module.
  • The CANopen fieldbus interface is provided by the COM-C module via a DE-9 D-sub receptacle connector. It functions as a CANopen master with a 500 Kbaud transmission rate that communicates with one to five Woodward GS6 or GS16 valves.
  • The following redundancy options are supported by the PCNO:
  • One I/O pack with one Ethernet connection (no redundancy)
  • Dual I/O Ethernet connections on a single I/O pack
  • COMPATIBILITY

  • The SPIDG1A CANopen Master Gateway Terminal board is used to mount the PCNO and provide an electronic ID.
  • Its only connection is to the PCNO, as the CANopen connection is made to the DE-9 D-sub receptacle connector exposed on the PCNO's side. On the PCNO, indicator LEDs provide visual diagnostics.
  • PROCESSOR

  • The processor board is shared by all Mark VIe Ethernet I/O packs or modules. It includes the following:
  • Two fully independent 10/100 Ethernet ports with connectors
  • High-speed processor with RAM and flash memory
  • Hardware watchdog timer and reset circuit
  • Internal temperature sensor
  • Status LEDs
  • Soft start/current limiter on the input power connector
  • Local power supplies, including sequencing and monitoring
  • AUTO-RECONFIGURATION

  • The Auto-Reconfiguration feature allows the operator to replace I/O packs without having to manually reconfigure each pack or module.
  • When the controller detects an I/O pack booting with a different configuration and the Auto-Reconfiguration feature is enabled, a reconfiguration file is automatically downloaded from the controller to the I/O pack. The bootload, baseload, firmware, and parameters are all reconfigured.
  • Unless it already has the latest version, each I/O pack is updated with the current configuration that matches the configuration used by the controller.
