TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - IS200JPDDG1A
IS200JPDDG1A is a DC Power Distribution Board developed by GE. It is a part of the Speedtronic Mark VIe control system. The JPDD (DC Power Distribution and Protection) board serves a crucial role in facilitating power distribution, isolation, and branch circuit protection for various control or input/output (I/O) functions that necessitate either 125 V DC or 24 V DC power. Primarily, it supports applications involving DC relay and solenoid control power, as well as contact wetting.

Output Features: Each output includes essential components such as a fuse, a switch, and an indicator lamp. These elements serve different functions:
Fuse: Each circuit is equipped with a 0.25 inch by 1.25 inch 15A 250V fuse, ensuring protection against overcurrent scenarios and preventing damage to connected devices.
Switch: It allows for manual control or interruption of the power supply to the respective output.
Indicator Lamp: This lamp illuminates to indicate the presence of output voltage, providing a visual signal of power availability.
Limitations: The JPDD board is not designed for supplying power to the I/O packs directly. It is primarily focused on providing power distribution and protection for control or I/O functions that require specific DC power levels.
Regarding the terminal board fusing:
JPDAG1: This component furnishes fuses that are meticulously coordinated with the system wiring and connectors' ratings, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance within the system.
JPDAG2 and JPDAG3: These units are utilized when fuse ratings aligned with a particular application are necessary. They accommodate two different fuse sizes to cater to local fuse preferences, ensuring flexibility and suitability for various setups.
Inputs
Multiple JPDD boards can receive power from a single Main Power Distribution Module branch circuit. Power input can be either 125 V dc, 48 V dc, or 24 V dc nominal. Two 2-pin Mate-N-Lok connectors are provided for 125 V dc power. One connector receives input power, and the other can be used to distribute 125 V dc power to another JPDD board in a daisy chain fashion.
Two 4-pin Mate-N-Lok connectors are provided for 24/48 V dc power. These perform functions similar to those of the 2-pin connectors above. The 4-pin connector permits the parallel connection of two pin pairs for increased current capacity. It is expected that neither side of the DC power input is grounded.
Outputs
Six identical output circuits are provided. Each output circuit includes two fuses, a switch with a pair of isolation contacts on each side of the output, and a green lamp to indicate the presence of voltage across the output terminals.
The provision of a fuse and switch contact on each side of the DC path allows the use of this board with floating power sources.
Installation
JPDD is held in a plastic holder, which mounts on a vertical DIN rail. When installing the JPDD, it is important to provide a ground lead from TB1 to the system ground. This creates a ground path for the metal switch bodies.
Power input can be 24 V dc, 48 V dc, or 125 V dc, but only one voltage level at any given time. Do not mix voltages. For cable destinations, refer to the circuit diagram. TB1 should be connected to the system ground.
configuration
The configuration of the board is designed to be straightforward without the inclusion of jumpers, streamlining the setup process. However, it requires attention to specific elements for proper configuration:

Output Load Switches: Instead of jumpers, the JPDD board features six output load switches. It's crucial to check the positioning of these switches to ensure the appropriate functionality and distribution of power to the designated circuits.
Fuse Ratings: The board accommodates flexibility in fuse ratings, allowing the use of various options to create specific branch circuit ratings tailored to different requirements. Typically, the Bussmann ABC series of fuses is recommended for use with this board. These fuses come in a range of ratings, starting at 14 A and extending up to 15 A. However, it's imperative to note that fuses rated above 15A should not be utilized with this board due to potential compatibility issues and safety concerns.
Alternate Fuse Ratings: In cases where alternate fuse ratings are desired or required for specific branch circuit ratings, the board allows for the insertion of the appropriate fuse in each branch circuit. This flexibility enables users to adapt the board to suit different power needs while ensuring the safety and optimal performance of the connected components.
