PRODUCTS FOR OIL & GAS SECTOR


There are many critical requirements throughout the entire oil & gas industry process. OEM offers a series of temperature sensors suitable for the various processing, extraction, production, refining and distribution phases of petroleum, gas and other petrochemical products.

OEM produces temperature sensors, tube skin thermocouples, petrochemical sensors and thermocouples for refinery plants and also offers a general line of thermometer assemblies which are explosion proof. All these sensors are available with a possible transmitter.

OEM also manufactures temperature sensors specifically designed to measure the temperature of bearings where there is a risk of overheating in applications, such as wind generators, engines and gears.

PRODUCTS FOR THE AERONAUTIC SECTOR


Temperature sensors for the aeronautic sector are robust, quality, reliable and precise. These sensors survive extreme working conditions. All these characteristics were acquired over many years of experience.This is the success of our temperature sensors, and the result of our ability to work in close contact with our clients to ensure compliance with specific operating requirements, both with attention to detail with solid and established production processes and technologies.All these parts were qualified in many military and aerospace programs to the environmental requirements of MIL-STD-810.

For this sector, we have available temperature sensors for oil, air and brake control, thermocouples type “K”, “J”, “T” with special tolerance classification, resistance thermometers Pt 100, 500,1000, Ni 100 with tolerance class A, B, 1/3 din, 1/5 din, 1/10 din and thermistors PTC and NTC.

PRODUCTS FOR GENERAL APPLICATIONS


The thermocouple probes with mineral insulation are highly resistant and suitable for heavy use conditions with a temperature interval from -200°C to +1250°C.In general, the sheaths can be flexed, twisted and flattened as needed without lessening the characteristics.

Thermocouples are also available with tubing and cable and thermocouples with ceramic insulators. The thermocouples are available in types K, T, J, N, E, R, S, B, C with a sheath diameter of 0.25 mm to 12.7 mm.Available with simple, double or triple elements.

Vast selection of materials for sheathing; for example stainless steel, Inconel 600, AISI 316, AISI 321 etc. as well as materials such as Hastelloy and Molibdeno.

Various types of terminations such as connection heads, connectors, cables, temperature transmitters, terminal block in ceramic, etc.

Portable probes with thermocouples with various types of points suitable for a large number of applications and temperature intervals, for example tilted surface, penetration (point), perforated (for air temperature measurement), with spring-mounted point (with surface temperature), etc. They are supplied with a nylon or steel or silicone handle, a coiled extension cable, and generally a miniature pin assembled as termination for compatibility with the instrumentation.

The resistance thermometers with mineral insulation (RTD) are precise temperature probes for use in heavy conditions on a temperature interval from -50°C to +650°C.

The sheaths can generally flex and twist according to the various applications without losing their characteristics.The resistance thermometers are also available with tubing and cable.The resistance thermometers are available in types PT100, PT1000, NI500, NI1000 with a sheath diameter from 2 mm to 12.7 mm.

Available in 2, 3 and 4 wire configurations with single, double and triple elements and Vast selection of materials for sheathing, for example stainless steel AISI 321 and Inconel 600.

The resistance thermometers in platinum are suitable for applications in general and can also be manufactured for applications requiring high precision.

Available with class B and A elements to standard IEC 751, 1/3 DIN, 1/5 DIN and for high precision 1/10 DIN. Possibility of EMIT-LAST calibration.

Various types of terminations such as connection heads, connectors, cables, temperature transmitters, terminal block in ceramic, etc.

THERMOWELLS


The wells are widely used in the energy, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries.They can be used to protect temperature indicators and sensors from process fluids, high pressure and flow speed, allowing maintenance and replacement of the sensors without any need to stop the system.

Wells are designed to meet the standards established by BSI, DIN, ASME, and the company standards supported by BP, Shell, SNAM etc. For more demanding working conditions, wells are available both manufactured with a tube or bar or forged. The various offers differ mainly in the machining: flanged, threaded or welded. Furthermore, the thermowells are available in Van Stone and with coupling for hygiene-sanitary applications.

Each well obtained from a bar is verified with software to a Von-Karman calculation spreadsheet certified in accordance with ASME PTC 19.3 TW-2016.

The choice of material and manufacture to specific client requirements guarantee excellent probe protection. Other than precise measurements, the NACE standards are met, to MR-01-75 requirements, providing complete certification of the suppliers' original materials.

ACCESSORIES


OEM have items and accessories available for temperature sensors, accessories necessary for assembly of the sensors on the machine or the system.Accessories with compensated cables for thermocouples with all the types of calibrations and in various insulations up to use at 500°C, cables in copper and nickel for resistance thermometers, compensated connectors for thermocouples in various dimensions and materials, MIL standard connectors and connectors for light use.

OEM also have mechanical components in the widest ranging types of threadings, components such as compression joints, three-piece joints and extension nipples also with ATEX certification.

PRODUCTS FOR THE FOOD SECTOR


In this sector, we have available single and multi-point needles for traditional ovens and vacuum cooking, single and multi-point needles for blast chillers and rapid freezers, with or without a heater, temperature probes for cooking, pizza, bread and leavening ovens, fryers and blast chillers and extension cables for connection inside the electronic circuit.

The temperature sensors for the food sector are distinguished by construction in stainless steel, which is robust and resistant to knocks and designed and manufactured in compliance with foodstuff standards in force RoHS 2002/95/EC.

PRODUCTS FOR THE CHEMICAL SECTOR


The multi-point temperature profile sensors measure temperature at different points along their entire length and are often used in the chemical and petrochemical industry as they offer an excellent temperature profile of the chemical reactors, catalytic cracking systems and fractionating columns and represent the most efficient solution in terms of cost, maintenance and data acquisition.

The multi-point sensors allow, with single penetration of the tubing, reading a large number of points which can be assessed to provide a complete temperature profile of the column, the tank and the reactor.

The multi-point sensors improve monitoring and control of the reaction process in the chemical reactors, a critical parameter is the working temperature control, a multi-point is capable of measuring the temperature profile inside the reaction tubing.

By monitoring the temperature profile, the reagents flow and the cooling liquid can be controlled to maximise the process yield and the efficiency of the reaction, high local resolution is also required of the temperature profile to guarantee the hot point does not reach the maximum temperature of the process permitted.

PRODUCTS FOR THE RAILWAY SECTOR


The particular use conditions of these sensors required reliability studies and type testing, to allow the sensor to work in extreme conditions, overcoming tests such as vibrations, knocks, traction and saline fog. The reference, international railway standards are: IEC349-2, IEC34-1, CEI 2-3, CEI EN 50125, IEC 61373.

Temperature sensors developed specifically for high speed trains work reliably at speeds over 350 Km/h. The temperature sensors are used all over the world in high speed trains, cargo trains, regional trains and the metro.

Pt100 single or double measurement resistors are used to measure the temperature of rail vehicles. The connection line can be installed with a 2, 3 or 4 wire connection. Cable output can be constructed at any angle.
