TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR GE - IS430SNUAH1A
IS430SNUAH1A is an I/O Module manufactured and designed by General Electric. It is a part of the Mark VIe System. Features Mark VIe I/O packs include a generic processor board and a data acquisition board that is specific to the type of connected device. Each terminal board's I/O packs digitize the signal, run algorithms, and communicate with the Mark VIe controller. The I/O pack detects faults by combining special circuitry in the data acquisition board with software running on the CPU board. The controllers receive and process the fault status. If both network interfaces are connected, the I/O pack transmits and receives inputs and outputs. When requested, each I/O pack also sends an identification message (ID packet) to the main controller. The packet contains the I/O board's hardware catalog number, hardware revision, board barcode serial number, firmware catalog number, and firmware version. The processor board and data acquisition board of the I/O pack are rated for -30°C to 65°C operation with free convection cooling. The temperature sensor in the I/O packs is accurate to within 2°C. Each I/O pack temperature is stored in the database and can be used to trigger an alarm.
